Working for a Better Colombia, Meeting with Honorable William Bush and Edwin Salcedo

From right to left the pictures show Honorable William Bush, director of Foreign Affairs for the Amercas myself and Edwin Salcedo, Development Specalist, USAID. Mr. Bush is from the San Andreas Islands of Colombia. These Islands were cotton plantations during slavery. I visited the Island about six years ago and worked with former Governor Susana Bryan leading up to her election.

Mr. Bush has pledged to work closely with the Commission to fulfill its mission of bringing African Colombians into "first class citizenship" in Colombia.
