of Colombia it was taken just after the launching of the
Commission that is charged with accessing the true
conditions of Afrocolombians . I think the Commission
must move quickly to demonstrate that it have the clout
to make a difference. Since unemployment for
Afrocolumbians is said to be approaching 50% quotas
should be placed on multi-national corporations such as
Citigroup and Coca Cola.

Multi-nations headquartered in the US should be required
to follow the guidelines of the Commission using existing
US law dealing with Affirmative Actions, if need be, new
law should be enacted. This would be a requirement
for Colombia to receive American aid.
